Herman Ermens has been part of the FrieslandCampina Ingredients team for over 40 years, leading the team with unwavering commitment in its mission of helping people get the most out of life, always. After receiving his degree from the HAS green academy in Food Science and Technology, Herman completed further study in the field of Strategic Marketing before beginning his career as a Food Technologist. He then enjoyed 24 years of varied roles within FrieslandCampina Ingredients, before becoming the CEO of DFE Pharma, a then newly formed joint venture on pharmaceutical grade excipients. Following this, he was appointed Managing Director of Early Life Nutrition and successfully developed this business segment before being promoted to Managing Director for Medical Nutrition, which later became part of FrieslandCampina Ingredients’ Adult Nutrition segment.
